What you need to Know

If you are coming to live in Spain there are a few things you need to know about. I will be highlighting some of these over the next few weeks. However the first and most important is football. If you have never been here you need a rapid course in Spanish Football. The best place to get your grounding is http://www.spain-football.org.
This site will tell you the basics about each club in the Primera Liga and go into greater depth on many of the better known clubs. It is growing by the day and is fast becoming the reference point for all Spanish football news.
What if you don't like ootball? Well there are other countries you know but to get a real taste of the pop culture of Span there is nothing that is as good as a conversation starter. Let's face it, the weather is not much of a chat when it is sunny most of the time.

  1. Thanks for the heads up, Graham, but there's plenty more on Spain-Football.org.

I'm currently writing brief club profiles on all the second division clubs (including contact info) and info on each region of Spain.

The ultimate aim is to turn Spain-Football.org into the best possible resoures for football tourists and expat fans living in Spain.

What inspired me to start the site was watching Rangers fans getting stupidly drunk and trashing the beautiful city of Barcelona last season. I just thought 'It doesn't have to be this way!'

Hence spain-football.org was born - Enjoy the Beautiful Game in Sunny Spain!

PS. Hoping to launch a forum and community but that'll prbably have to wait till next season.

    Cheers
    Simon
