Tip number 69 of our 100 tips for moving to Spain talks about a necessary evil perhaps, Spanish TV. TV in Spain is generally shockingly bad. Quiz shows go on forever, "variety" shows last all night, women are pensioned off as soon as the hourglass figures disappear, football at all times and bullfighting when there isn't any, news programmes are politically motivated and films have advertising breaks so long you forget you were watching a film and go off to bed.
However for learning the language you might well be advised to swallow your pride and your critical sense and watch some Spanish TV.
