OK so I made a mistake. I skipped from video 55 to video tip 57 missing out this peach about Spanish Inheritance Tax. Inheritance tax is something levied by the autonomous communities so rules and levels are set locally. Therefore make sure you check the inheritance tax levels and rules in your place where you buy. Here in Valencia there is no inheritance tax on property if it is being left to the kids who are also Valencia community residents. Now that is a decent investment compared with other areas of Europe and Spain itself where inheritance tax will be levied at much higher levels.
