What's the quality of build on the Spanish house you are thinking of buying? Do you have a single skin construction or have you actually got a decent construction with cavity wall insulation, roof insulation, damp coursing, windows that actually fit etc...
It's a major point of buying a house for sale in Spain because if there is one thing that can ruin a move above all others it is that on the first day of rain in your new house, and when it rains in Spain it pours, it resembles a colander.
