Getting a Spanish NIE number has got a lot easier in Valencia. The system means you no longer have to go down to Patraix, no longer have to go to Avenida Constitución or do laps of Valencia from place to place. As a European Union resident the office is just behind the railway station in the centre of Valencia and the queues are negligible.
