Buying Property in Spain - The Definitive and Quick Guide

I have produced a book about the buying process in Spain and the steps you need to take. It is a more or less definitive guide to buying in Spain. You can buy it using the button here. Also if you have any questions after reading it then you can ask us through this blog site.

It costs 2.99 Pounds and can be paid for using Paypal or your credit card securely at the Paypal site. Well worth a look as this book could save you thousands.

Alternatively if you want to buy it through your eBay account then look at the fixed price auction page and get it from there.

A Couple of Points

For those of you who got in touch after yesterday's "Place in The Sun" on Channel Four just let me remind you please that it was filmed in Summer 2004 and prices have changed somewhat since then! So please don't be frustrated when you are told that what you are looking for only exists in the past.

Secondly for more info on what is going on in Valencia and some background another website has been brought to my attention this week,
http://www.valencia-tourist-travel-guide.com/index.html

A good source of info that is updated quite regularly with the latest comings and goings and information about the city itself. Keep up the good work Carole.

Whether it will mention the last three days constant rain though...

Wild West Ranch

John Wayne he ain't but Pedro Ruiz would probably not get off his horse on the Duke's orders. Pedro has set up and is now selling up his dream of a wild west ranch here in Valencia. The ranch has various Corrals that while they may be OK have a more educational base as they house the horses for the riding school and trekking that he does in the local area. The plot of 24000m2 has plenty of scope for even a bit of cross country riding and the buildings that are already there and the permits that are in place for further development make this a great business opportunity for the right person.

There is a 3 bedroomed nifty wooden house here for the owner to live on, a bar and restaurant area, children's play area, the beginnings of a wild west theme area, lots of stables, both finished and in construction, and parking for the many visitors cars that come here. It is set just four kilometres outside Casinos so should be considered a prime business candidate as this is just half an hour from Valencia and the potential of a million customers.

There is planning permission in place for a twelve bedroom ranch style guest house and the photo of the plans you can see above. The price? 675,000 Euros all in or you can buy the rights to running the riding school, bar and restaurant if you want and not purchase the whole thing.

An interesting concept this one.

Calicanto 450,000 Euros

This house is all ready and set up to move into. The main house has four bedrooms, three bathrooms, large living room, kitchen and storeroom. Outside there is a self contained apartment, soon to be finished, an excellent pool, paellero, gardens and loads of off road car parking. Satellite TV dish, double glazing, heating, air conditioning and the rest, this is a very well appointed place.

Great Flat In Ruzafa, Valencia

It's Fallas in Valencia so it is not quiet and you can't park anywhere. It is loud and very interesting. The flat here is in the heart of Ruzafa, the best part of Valencia for the Fallas. It has three bedrooms, two bathrooms, a large kitchen diner, hallway and living room.

It is on the third floor, with a lift!, and the facade of the building is recently painted. The flat is just a couple of minutes away from the soon to be developed Parque Central and it is a ten minute stroll into Valencia City Centre.

191,300 Euros for this place. A bargain.
